Max Leiby is a licensed social worker who works with children, teens, adults and couples. He has experience treating a broad range of diagnoses including anxiety, depression, trauma, ocd and ptsd. He collaborates with clients to help them better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges. Max integrates a Humanistic Approach with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to empower his clients to break through mental barriers and embrace healthier, more fulfilling ways of thinking and living.
Max earned his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has a strong interest in arts, religion, and philosophy, which inform his holistic approach to therapy. He has worked in the Chicago Public Schools as well as at the Kenneth Young Center of Elk Grove Village.
