Julie Brown is a licensed social worker who works with teens, adults and couples. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, serious mental illness, and relationship issues. Julie utilizes cognitive therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, interpersonal psychotherapy, and supportive therapy and is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. She works with her clients to find meaningful paths to personal growth. Her therapeutic approach is relationally-based and nurturing, focusing on empowering clients to make positive changes and develop effective coping strategies.
Julie has a master’s degree in Social Work from Dominican University and experience working in a domestic violence agency, an in-patient psychiatric hospital, and a community based mental health care agency, she has a deep understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of mental health care.
