Hannah Fidler, LPC, works with children, teens, adults, and families. Hannah has experience working with trauma, grief, crisis events, conflict, substance use, chronic pain, and significant transitions in life.
Hannah prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships through compassion, honesty, and respect for the whole person. She integrates techniques from CBT, ACT, play therapy, neurocounseling, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic therapy. She is also a trained facilitator in a conflict mediation method called Dialogues for Peaceful Change. Hannah aims to provide culturally-responsive and holistic care that embraces the client's strengths, values, creativity, and capacity for healing.
Hannah received her masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University. She completed her clinical internship at a community clinic where she worked with patients of all ages as well as the clinic's re-entry program for men returning home from incarceration. In addition to clinical practice, Hannah teaches at the music conservatory at Roosevelt University and is one of the co-founders and live-in RA's of a sanctuary house for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers in Chicago. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
