Benlina Aier, LPC, works with children, teens, adults and families. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, crisis events, foster care, adoption, and the legal/court systems. Benlina fosters a counseling experience that is safe, compassionate, equitable, accessible, and empowering.
Benlina incorporates aspects of CBT, DBT, mindfulness practice, play therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. At its core, her work is rooted in strengths-based, relational work that is inclusive and culturally responsive.
Benlina received her master’s degree in Human Development Counseling at Vanderbilt University and completed her clinical internship at a crisis residential shelter for youth. She has worked in both community and school-based mental health systems.
