Scott Kupferschmidt, LCSW, works with families, adolescents, and adults. He helps clients with their anxiety, depression, anger, and coping with life changes. He also helps younger clients with social and behavior challenges at school and at home.
His approach to therapy focuses on meeting people where they are without judgment. He utilizes an easy-going conversation style while still challenging clients in a way that allows them to meet the goals they bring to therapy. Scott’s uses CBT, mindfulness, solutions-focused, and psychodynamic approaches to help clients achieve short- and long-term therapeutic goals.
Scott received his master’s degree in social work from Loyola University of Chicago. He has experience working in community mental health, a hospital, a residential behavioral setting, and private practice.
