Alexandra Oeser, BFA, MAATC (she/her)

Alexandra Oeser, BFA, MAATC, is an art therapist and counselor who works with children, adults, and older adults. She has experience working with clients to address depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and loss.  Alexandra utilizes a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, and uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and art therapy practices. She employs art therapy as a form of grounding, self-image exploration, and creative expression for each individual’s goals. Alexandra has a Master of Arts in Therapy and Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has worked in schools, continuing care communities, and residential behavioral health settings.
