Jeanne Dickerson MA, LCPC, CPCC, is the clinical director at Integrative Psychotherapy Associates, LLC. She has over thirty years as a psychotherapist working with a variety of ages, cultures, and issues. She has assisted children in their adjustment to changes in their family due to divorce, death, or remarriage; helped teenagers and young adults deal with low self-esteem and uncertainty around their career direction; facilitated adults in working through issues related to depression, anxiety, abuse, addiction, trauma, and challenging relationships.
Jeanne is committed to assisting couples, parents, and families to have clear communication and healthy relationships. This comes from her extensive experience as an educator on these topics. She has been an instructor for College of DuPage, Joliet Junior College, and the American Management Association. Her focus has been on teaching communication skills and conflict resolution. She also pulls on her experience of being a supervisor of an adolescent psychiatric team and an Executive Director of a Wholistic Health Center.
Part of what makes Jeanne’s work rich and meaningful is her diversified background. Not only is she a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, but she is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach—through the Coaches Training Institute. As a result, Jeanne brings a multidimensional approach in the work she does, integrating spiritual and psychological paradigms for growth and transformation.
Jeanne has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Northwestern University, Social Therapist certificate from Forest Hospital/Northeastern University, and a Masters degree in Communication from Governor’s State University.
